Clive Webberley
Head of Technical
Clive has been working in the steel construction industry for 30 years and specialised in cold formed structures following his graduation from the University of Warwick. In his early career he worked as a Structural Engineer designing medium rise steel framed buildings. He became a Chartered Engineer in December 2000 following successful election to Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers. During his career he has held a number of senior positions including Operations Director and Technical Director. Throughout he has worked at the forefront of technology for loadbearing cold formed steel structures including structural, fire, acoustic and thermal performance. Clive has a young family which more or less absorbs his time away from the office.
Anthony Longbottom
Head of Pre-Contracts
Anthony joined Sigmat in 2010 following a two year stint in the Structural Engineering department at WYG. Graduating from Newcastle University with a Masters in Civil & Structural Engineering, Anthony has a wealth of experience in LGSF having personally designed over 20 LGSF buildings varying from 1 storey to 12 storeys right across the UK including Byron House Nottingham, the only LGSF frame that has an intentional leaning façade and subsequently announced as winner of the RICS Project of the Year.
Anthony now manages the Sigmat design team, split across three sites in the UK, heavily focused on successful delivery of high specification LGSF projects and transfer structures.
Anthony has a young family and spends every spare moment, weekend or evening, renovating his house.
Sarah Stone
Head of Design
Sarah commenced working for Sigmat in 2011 following the completion of her Masters in Civil & Structural Engineering at the University of Newcastle. Joining the team in the Evesham office as Graduate Design Engineer Sarah has since designed countless Sigmat structures across student accommodation, hotel, residential and retirement living.
In 2019 Sarah moved into the role of Principal R&D Engineer leading Sigmat through new innovations. In recognition of her longstanding dedication and contribution, Sarah was appointed the role of Design Director South and latterly Design Director for the whole of the Company, to support and lead the continued evolution of Sigmat and meet our growing workloads.
Sarah has a young family and recently spent time fully renovating their home.
