Jan 2020 - Skipton Girls School technology challenge success!

Sigmat are proud to be supporting young talent in engineering and sponsored 3 Skipton girls teams in the Landrover 4x4 Schools Technology Challenge. Students were required to build a radio controlled four-wheel drive vehicle and successfully navigate obstacles on an off-road test track. Each team entered their vehicles into the Regional Final, and all 3 teams are successfully through to the National finals. Teams will also raise sponsorship, completing presentations, team pit display and detailed portfolio, in addition to being able to explain and understand the engineering elements and manufacturing processes. Well done to all of the teams involved!
