Sigmat awarded first key project with 10M Group
Sigmat has been awarded the structural frame for a new residential development in Digbeth, Birmingham. Fountains Loft, backed by Homes England and their commitment to the regeneration of Digbeth, will see the creation of 39 new homes in the area. Set across three separate buildings, all based around an attractive communal courtyard, the 39 new homes will be a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, with links to the city centre and fantastic local amenities.
A first key project with 10M Group, Sigmat was selected due to the cost-efficiency and speed of using their LGSF solution. Commenting on the upcoming project, Contracts Manager at Sigmat, Jason Berry “We are delighted to be working with 10M Group on our first project together. Once again the speed and programme surety of the Sigmat system has been a clear advantage. The team will be on site for just 15 weeks.”
The development will be built on a brownfield land, The Sigmat team will deliver a total GIFA 30,000 sqft across 5 storeys. With 1,700 linear metres of Sigmat panels, 10 flights of stairs and 5 quarter landings.
The team will start on site Summer 2022.
